Different Methods Of Upper Awash River Basin - 1000 Words

Climate elements (temperature, humidity, sunshine hours, wind speed, rainfall) and their interaction with other physical features determine the hydrological process such as rainfall, runoff, recharge, and stream flow generation. To assess the hydrological processes of Upper Awash river basin, analysis of hydro-meteorological elements have been done. Different techniques have been utilized to estimate hydro-meteorological variables. Prior evaluation of quality and distribution of the data have been checked by comparing observation data with a set of global climate layers (climate grids) with a spatial resolution of about 1 square kilometer (Hijmans, R.J et. al, 2005).
